My mind went into error mode with that dream of hers. I was stuck on "WTF is that bike supposed to be?!" and was unable to move on

I initially interpreted that line from Mitsumi differently but watching it again and listening to the Japanese I guess she is trying to deny it lol. I interpreted it at first as "So I can feel this way about a friend, huh" like a realization but it does sound more like a denial in actuality.

Oh my days Mitsumi is so adorable, her reaction when she realized she has feelings for Shima was so funny, and then watching her run away calling Fumi put a huge smile on my face.

I really enjoyed watching the two make up in their own awkward way, Shima looked like he was trying to run away from the situation at first but I am glad Mitsumi said what she had to say, although what she said could be interpreted as she liking him as well but I don't think Shima will see that way.

I thought it was sweet how Shima particularly didn't want Mitsumi to believe the rumors, it sucks stuff like that is being said about him but I like how Mukai told the girls not to ask him questions they wouldn't personally ask Shima.

I really enjoyed the way they made up, I could really feel that anxiety that comes from having these conversations with a friend and the relief that comes when you both understand each other

My one and only anime on Tuesday time

I was quite a problem student during highschool and I've skipped a lot of classes and activities, but I have always excelled at exams. Then I got in trouble for skipping a lot and coming to school drunk (I was 15). My parents were both teachers so they were both pretty pissed.

Fast forward during college I got a crush on our student body president and she's quite smart and is a candidate for cum laude (high honors), I tried to ask her out multiple times and she declined everytime. I told her that if I can get a higher rate than her, she would then be my girlfriend. 8 years later we got married. 😂

I skipped a few details but it’s real though. She said she didn’t really like me at first because I was “too friendly” to everyone, and that I was always having fun and didn’t take college seriously. Her type were those mysterious and cute boys. She accepted the challenge because she thought I would stop bothering her and lose interest. I studied so hard for the remaining 2 years of college and during that time we were already close friends since I also joined the student organization, I was tasked for anything design related and has to stay late after school hours whenever there’s a school event coming up, she would wait for me even though she’s no longer the president because she felt guilty that she was the reason I joined in the first place. I did in fact got a higher rating than her and we just laughed about it because we already became a couple a few months before graduation.

Gosh I love how smart they are about their relationships.

It truly is a breath of fresh air to have anime characters doing true introspections about themselves and the interactions they have with other people.

And it's so good to see a naive main character who can also have common sense and draw a logical and true conclusion facing a conflict.

The writers really went deep to give us deep personalities and it's so good in an industry where you often have a copy/paste of the same personalities over and over again.

Here they all have their own contradictions.
- Mitsumi is really gullible but smart enough to resolve issues created by her own gullibility.
- Shima is really soft and seems well-behaved at first but act with detachment and skip school without really thinking about it.
- Mika is depicted as a bully at first but you learn that it's because she was bullied when she was younger and now feels like she is obliged to be the most perfect possible (which created an inferiority complex and animosity towards Mitsumi who is her trueself without even thinking about it).

Bro, I gotta say, you really know your stuff when it comes to anime. It's so awesome how you can fully immerse yourself in the story and understand the characters so well. And the way you break down their backgrounds? So insightful!
